Expanding the voltage range for ABB IP20 micro drives as well as offering a full voltage range of IP66 drives, the ACS250 drive provides more solutions for basic applications. IP66 drives are ideally suited for food and beverage applications like augers, mixers, conveyors, pumps and fans where the drives are exposed to dust, moisture, and chemicals. Feed-thru wiring in IP20 models facilitates replacing panel mounted motor starters. IP66 models are offered with and without front panel mounted operator controls: Disconnect, speed potentiometer, and FWD-OFF-REV selector switch.

ACS250 IP20
Applications for the ACS250 IP20: Applications with 115V (for 230V Motors) and 600V supply power: conveyors, mixers, pumps, fans, food and beverage variable torque, constant torque or constant horsepower applications. Compact size replace motor starters/soft starters. New Installations, replacement and original equipment manufactures (OEM).
V/Hz control for linear (CT) or squared (VT) applications or Sensorless Vector Control (600V Only). Overload Capacity of 150% for 60 seconds or 175% for 2 seconds. Built in PI control. IP20 enclouser with wall or DIN rail mounting. Remote mount keypad option kit. Intergrated keypad with operator interface and local speed control. Optional drive parameter copying tool. Easy setup and commissioning with ABB common proggraming structure. Quick start macros for fast commissioning and start up built in braking chopper allows connection to remote braking resister for enhanced preformance needs. Built in Modbus RTU and Relay option kit allows fast system intergration.
